Amar graduated with a B.S. in Finance degree from Indiana University’s highly regarded Kelley School of Business.  He later graduated from Loyola Law School (Los Angeles) with a Master of Tax Law degree.

Amar holds the following licenses and certifications:

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
• CFP® Professional (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™)

Before joining Financial Advisors Network Tax Planning Group, Amar worked at large Los Angeles accounting firms specializing in tax compliance and consulting.  He worked on complex engagements involving high-net-worth clients, large business entities, international tax, and M&A tax due diligence/structuring.  He started his career working at a private investment firm in Chicago, where he honed his research and analysis skills.

Amar grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and is a huge Chicago Bulls, Bears, and Cubs fan.  In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball and practicing yoga.  Him and his wife (a native of Philadelphia) now love living the Southern California dream in Long Beach.
